Bee Shaffer Carrozzini, daughter of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, and filmmaker Francesco Carrozzini, son of late Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani, have announced their separation after nearly eight years of marriage.
The couple confirmed the news in a joint statement, emphasising their continued friendship and commitment as parents to their four-year-old son.
Bee and Francesco, long regarded as a fashion power couple, married in July 2018 in a ceremony that united two iconic editorial legacies. They recently appeared together at the Met Gala, where Bee was still seen wearing her wedding ring, making the announcement unexpected.
In their statement, the pair said, “After ten wonderful years together, we have decided to separate. Although our career paths led us in different directions, we remain the very best of friends and devoted, committed parents to our son.”
Bee continues her career as a Broadway producer in New York, working with ATG Entertainment on productions such as Plaza Suite, Appropriate, and Parade. Francesco, meanwhile, pursues filmmaking in Italy, reflecting their transatlantic lifestyle.
The separation marks a new chapter for two families deeply rooted in global fashion. Despite the split, both Bee and Francesco maintain mutual respect and privacy as they focus on their professional and personal lives.
