Diplomats from the Australian High Commission in India marked International Women’s Day with a creative and energetic video that quickly gained attention on social media.

The video showcases women diplomats working at the High Commission and highlights their roles in strengthening diplomatic ties between Australia and India.

Dhurandhar-Inspired Theme Adds Cinematic Touch

What made the video stand out was its cinematic style and soundtrack. The clip used background music from filmmaker Aditya Dhar’s project Dhurandhar, giving the presentation a powerful and engaging feel.

In the video, each woman diplomat is introduced along with her role within the High Commission, emphasizing the diverse responsibilities handled by the team and their contribution to international diplomacy.

High Commissioner Praises Women Diplomats

The video was shared on X by Philip Green, who praised the women working at the mission for their contributions to strengthening the partnership between the two countries.

“Proud to work alongside the impressive women of the Australian High Commission who are working to advance the Australia-India partnership,” Green wrote while sharing the clip.

He also described the diplomats as trailblazers and changemakers representing modern Australia.

Social Media Users Appreciate the Creative Approach

The video quickly gained traction online, receiving thousands of views and positive reactions from social media users.

Several viewers praised the editing and presentation style of the clip. One user credited the editor for the energetic storytelling, while others described the video as “cool,” “awesome,” and “a great tribute to women leaders.”

Another comment noted the unique approach taken by the mission, calling it a refreshing way to celebrate International Women’s Day and recognize women’s contributions to diplomacy.

Highlighting Women in Diplomacy

The initiative reflects the increasing emphasis on gender equality and women’s leadership in global diplomacy. By spotlighting its women diplomats, the Australian High Commission aimed to celebrate their achievements while also reinforcing the strong and growing relationship between Australia and India.
