China: Indian athletes Manju Rani and Ram Baboo secured the mixed team bronze medal in the 35km race walk event with a remarkable combined time of 5 hours, 51 minutes, and 14 seconds at the Asian Games 2023.

This victory marked a significant achievement for India, as it was their 70th medal at the games, matching their record-setting performance from the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta. India’s impressive medal count in athletics now comprises 23 medals, including four gold, ten silver, and nine bronze.

This bronze medal in the 35km race walk mixed team event not only brought applause and recognition for our athletes, Manju Rani and Ram Baboo but also signaled the strong standing of India in Asian athletics.
