Actor and entrepreneur Ajay Devgn has marked a significant business milestone with his premium single-malt whisky brand, The GlenJourneys. Launched in October 2025, the brand has reported a turnover of ₹4.14 crore within just four months of operations.
According to an official statement released by the company, The GlenJourneys has sold over 8,622 bottles since its launch. The brand, co-owned by Devgn and Cartel Bros, has rapidly expanded its retail footprint and is now available across 437 outlets in six Indian states.
Rapid Domestic Expansion Across Key States
The GlenJourneys began operations in Maharashtra in October 2025. By January 2026, it expanded into Goa, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, followed by Haryana in February 2026. The company has also applied for registration approvals in 23 additional states and union territories, including Punjab, Pondicherry, Rajasthan, and Chandigarh.
In addition to retail outlets, the whisky brand has established a presence in duty-free stores at major Indian airports, including Mumbai, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Trivandrum, Amritsar, and Mangalore — strengthening its visibility among domestic and international travelers.
Leadership Perspective and Brand Vision
Sharing his views on the achievement, Ajay Devgn stated that The GlenJourneys is rooted in time-honoured Scotch traditions and crafted to appeal to evolving consumer preferences across India, including audiences beyond metropolitan cities.
He emphasized his active involvement in shaping the brand’s identity and positioning it within premium retail and hospitality channels. Encouraged by the early response, the company anticipates sustained sales momentum in the coming quarters.
Global Expansion and New Product Launch
Looking ahead, The GlenJourneys is preparing for international expansion. The brand has secured export orders to Dubai for 900 bottles of its Cask Series and 150 bottles of its 21-Year-Old expression.
Expansion plans are also underway for the United States and Canada markets.
Domestically, the company is set to broaden its product portfolio with the introduction of a new smoky variant, scheduled for launch in June 2026.
