The first official trailer for Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan is out. The film has been directed by Om Raut.

While Prabhas plays Raghava (Ram), Kriti will be seen as Janaki (Sita) and Saif takes on the role of multi-headed demon king Lankesh (Ravana) in this re-telling of the epic saga, Ramayana.
Much to the surprise of fans, the trailer of Adipurush features better VFX than the teaser released earlier which garnered a lot of negative response.
The trailer introduces us to the main characters of the film and the premise. The scale of production stands tall and the performances by the actors are what make it intriguing.
For the unversed, a special preview was arranged for fans in Hyderabad on May 8, 2023. The event was attended by Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, director Om Raut and co-producer Bhushan Kumar. However, Saif gave the promotions a miss.
Adipurush has been made on a budget of more than Rs 500 crore. Adipurush will arrive in theatres on June 16, 2023.
Ahead of its release in India, the movie will have its World Premiere in New York on June 13 at the Tribeca Festival, which is taking place from June 7 to 18.
