Kharavel Nagar Police have detained Arun Biswal, Deputy Secretary of the Transport Department, following serious allegations of midnight intrusion, physical assault, molestation, and rape made by a female stenographer working in the same department.
According to Kharavel Nagar Inspector-in-Charge Devendra Biswal, the suspect forcibly entered the complainant’s residence late last night, creating severe chaos and disturbance. Based on her formal written complaint, police acted swiftly to detain the senior official for interrogation.
