The “Khelo India Dialogue – Khel Ki Baat PM Modi Ke Sath” at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University (MSCB University), Baripada turned into an inspiring platform for young students, as they listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on sports and youth empowerment.
The programme was attended by Housing & Urban Development Minister Dr Krushna Chandra Mahapatra, Mayurbhanj MP Nabacharan Majhi, Vice Chancellor Mahendra Mohanty, and officials from the Sports Authority of India.
Dr Mahapatra emphasised that sports instil discipline, confidence, teamwork, and leadership, while Odisha’s rich sporting culture offers immense potential. He said initiatives like Khelo India are helping youth identify talent, access better training, and pursue dreams at national and international levels.
Prime Minister Modi, in his address, highlighted how Khelo India has emerged as a powerful platform to nurture sporting talent across India. He underlined that sports go beyond medals, shaping discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and self‑belief, while contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
Students participated enthusiastically, drawing inspiration from the Prime Minister’s vision and reaffirming their commitment to sports as a path to personal growth and national progress.
