Malkangiri: In a major crackdown, a joint team of SOG/DVF and BSF unearthed a huge cache of explosives stored by the Maoists in Malkangiri.
Based on the intelligence inputs, personnel of the district voluntary force (DVF), Special Operation Group (SOG) and BSF launched a combing operation in the area. Upon searching the cops found a generator, and several Maoist arms and ammunition from the spot and seized them.
The explosives were intended to be used for carrying subversive actions against security forces.
