During an interview with Review Nation, director Nitesh Tiwari spoke about the making of Ramayana while Ranbir Kapoor and Yash focused entirely on colouring printed illustrations.
Ranbir carefully coloured an artwork of Lord Rama, while Yash concentrated on a sketch of Ravana. Despite the ongoing discussion, both actors remained completely immersed in the activity, creating a light-hearted moment that quickly spread across social media.

Trailer launch postponed
Although the film’s trailer was expected to debut recently, producer Namit Malhotra announced that the launch has been postponed.
He confirmed that the delay follows the film’s global partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment, adding that the trailer will now be unveiled worldwide at a later date.
Meanwhile, director Nitesh Tiwari revealed that the first installment ends on a major cliffhanger, setting the stage for the second part of the epic.
Part One of Ramayana is scheduled to release during Diwali 2026.
