The Higher Education Department of Odisha released the results of the entrance examinations for two-year B.Ed, M.Ed, and B.H.Ed courses for the academic year 2026–27.
Students can now log in to the SAMS portal to view their results.
The department confirmed that 1,09,873 candidates applied for the B.Ed entrance test, and 98,170 appeared. For M.Ed, 1,788 candidates applied, and 1,318 appeared. Similarly, 1,879 candidates applied for the B.H.Ed examination, and 1,542 appeared.
Odisha has 31 teacher education institutions under the Higher Education Department, offering 2,450 seats for B.Ed, 300 for M.Ed, and 50 for B.H.Ed courses.
Students who wish to raise objections regarding their provisional marks can submit them online through the SAMS portal’s objection module from July 10 (2 PM) to July 13 (6 PM). The department will address all objections before publishing the final marks. Admissions to B.Ed, M.Ed, and B.H.Ed courses will be based on the final results.
Officials stated that the process ensures transparency and timely admission for aspiring teachers across the state.
