A third-year student of the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) reportedly died after falling from the roof of the Bhagirathi hostel.
The deceased has been identified as Vinay Sanyasi Venkat, a third-year Integrated MSc student and a resident of Nagpur, Maharashtra.
Student Dies At AIIMS Bhubaneswar
According to reports, Vinay reportedly slipped and fell from the hostel roof late last night. He was rushed to AIIMS Bhubaneswar in critical condition.
However, doctors later declared him dead during treatment.
Police Begin Investigation
After being informed about the incident, Jatani police reached the spot and took possession of the body.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. Police have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
