The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026 examinations that were scheduled to be conducted on May 28.
The decision comes after a revision in the date of the Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid) holiday, according to an official government notification.
Why Were the CUET UG 2026 Exams Postponed?
In an official notice, the NTA stated that the examination schedule was revised to avoid clashes with the Bakrid holiday.
The agency said the affected candidates will receive updated examination dates soon.
“The revised examination dates for the affected candidates will be announced shortly,” the notice said.

The NTA has advised candidates appearing for the postponed examination to regularly monitor the official website for fresh updates regarding the revised schedule.
