Bhubaneswar Bali Yatra 2025 will kick off on November 5 and run for 10 days until November 14.
The grand annual fair will unfold on the Kuakhai riverbed, drawing artisans, traders, and thousands of visitors.
Organizers have ramped up preparations. Bhubaneswar North MLA Susant Rout, who chairs the Bali Yatra Committee, inaugurated the temporary office at the venue. With growing popularity, the committee plans to expand the number of stalls to over 1,500, offering a vibrant mix of trade, food, and crafts.
The event will feature cultural performances by Ollywood and Bollywood artists, alongside Odissi, folk art, and traditional dance showcases. Children can enjoy rides and fun zones, making the fair a family-friendly attraction.
Security and crowd management remain top priorities. Officials have finalized designated parking zones and will install multiple watchtowers and additional CCTV cameras for round-the-clock monitoring. Committee members will assist with surveillance duties.
Commissionerate Police will maintain law and order, while traffic police will regulate vehicle movement. Fire services and medical teams will stay on alert to handle emergencies. The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation will ensure sanitation and cleanliness throughout the fairgrounds.
Committee secretary Subash Chandra Patra and working president Yashobanta Ojha confirmed that this year’s Bhubaneswar Bali Jatra will be bigger, safer, and more vibrant than ever.
