The Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi, with the support of the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture, organised a painting workshop on the theme “Viksit Bharat” on October 2 at the Kalinga Art Gallery, Bhubaneswar.
A total of 117 artists participated in the workshop, portraying their vision of a developed India on canvas.
Dr. Bijaya Ketan Upadhyaya, Secretary of the Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture, attended the programme as the chief guest. He encouraged the artists to actively contribute towards building a developed India and to present their aspirations for the nation through the medium of art.
The paintings created during the workshop are being displayed at an ongoing exhibition at the Kalinga Art Gallery, which will remain open to the public until October 9, 2025.
The event was also attended by Debayani Bhuyan, Secretary of Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi, Pritish Panda, Officer on Special Duty, Department of Odia Language, Literature and Culture, along with other officials and staff members.
