Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw inaugurates the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Digital University (NDU) Platform in New Delhi.
The platform is designed to democratize access to high-quality digital education. The Minister also virtually inaugurates five other NIELIT Centres at Muzaffarpur in Bihar, Balasore in Odisha, Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, Lunglei in Mizoram and Daman.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi praised the Centre’s launch. He thanked the Prime Minister and Union Minister for supporting digital skilling in Odisha.

NIELIT Balasore will train students in Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. Semiconductor technology and digital systems are part of the curriculum. The Centre uses modern tools to deliver hands-on learning experiences. Industry-relevant programs will prepare students for global tech careers. Digital skilling will help Odisha contribute to India’s IT ecosystem.
