Bhubaneswar: The Special Relief Commissioner on Wednesday directed the Collectors of several Districts to stay prepared as the IMD has issued rainfall warning for Odisha for the next three days.
The Odisha SRC has asked the Collectors to take steps to circulate the warning message among the public and take necessary actions by closely monitoring the situation.
In case of any eventuality, details of the incident if any may promptly be reported to SEOC, the SRC directed the District Collectors.
According to the IMD’s Midday bulletin, light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Angul, Dhenkanal, Gajapati Rayagada, Kandhamal, and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha between 1.30 pm of 12 May and 08.30 am of 13 May.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj and at a few places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Angul, Dhenkanal, Kandhamal, and at one or two places over the rest districts of Odisha between 8.30 am of 13 May and 08.30 am of 14 May.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at many places over the districts of Coastal Odisha Malkangiri, Koraput, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Kandhamal, and dry weather likely to prevail over the rest of districts of Odisha between 8.30 am of 14 May and 08.30 am of 15 May.
