Bhadrak: Masked robbers barged into a family in Bhadrak district, attacked them with sharp weapons and decamped with jewellery worth over Rs 5 lakh.
The incident occurred late last night in the house of Madhab Sethi in Badanapanga village under Bhandari Pokhari police limits.
According to reports, six armed miscreants entered the house wielding sharp weapons and threatened the occupants. They attacked them and decamped with the jewellery.
The victims were taken to Bhandari Pokhari Hospital for treatment. The police, informed of the incident, arrived at the scene to commence their investigation. While the precise value of the stolen jewellery is not known, it is estimated to exceed Rs 5 lakh.
