Bhadrak: Two persons were killed while another sustained critical injuries after an unknown vehicle hit the bike they were riding on NH 16 near Bant Chhak in Bhadrak district late last night.
The deceased have been identified as Siba Sundar Mohapatra (18) of Belamal village and Sourav Mishra (25) of Charampa Patharadi village.
According to reports, the accident happened as three individuals were travelling from Samaraipur to Charampa. Near Bant Chhak, their motorcycle was struck by an unidentified vehicle. Consequently, one individual died on the spot, and the other two suffered severe injuries. They were rushed to the hospital, where another was pronounced dead. The third person is undergoing treatment.
