Nuapada: Two persons were killed after their bike collided with a truck on the road stretch between Taraboda and Sahajat villages within Komana police station limits of Nuapada district.
The deceased were identified as Tikeshwar Sahu (45) of Sahajat village and Sushant Mirdha (25) of Khalia village near Yogimunda in Balangir district. Both were admitted to Nuapada District Headquarters Hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.
According to the information, on Saturday afternoon, the duo was travelling on a motorcycle from Taraboda and Sahajat when the mini-truck hit them. Both were rescued and admitted to the DHH where doctors declared both of them dead.
Taraboda out-post personnel have reached the spot and are conducting further investigation.
