Nuapada: A ranger of Khadiala forest department landed in Vigilance net over allegations of accumulating assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous searches at the properties of Sadanada Sunia.
Raids were carried out at Sunia’s residential house, his houses at Sinapali, his office chamber and his relative’s place.
According to sources, the Vigilance officers also seized cash, gold ornaments and several documents during the raid.
On the other hand, Vigilance also conducted raids at the house of PWD assistant engineer Birendra Khara and six other places across Odisha on charges of accumulating disproportionate assets.
