The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Preliminary 2025 results. Candidates can now check their results on the UPSC website: upsc.gov.in.
The Prelims exam, conducted on May 25, 2025, consisted of two objective-type papers, each worth 200 marks. As per UPSC rules, one-third of the marks for each wrong answer are deducted as a penalty under the negative marking scheme.
Note: The Prelims stage is only a screening test—marks scored here do not count toward the final merit list.
This year, the UPSC aims to recruit 979 candidates into top administrative positions like IAS, IPS, IFS, and others through this examination cycle.
