Puri: The mass cleaning drive at the Banda Danda or Grand Road in Puri, “Bada Danda Seba”, commenced from today.
The drive is being attended by various voluntary organizations, associations, trade unions, students and locals.
Volunteers of Puri have been asked to come forward and participate in the drive which is to be held on every Saturday morning from 6.30 to 8.30 AM in six zones of the holy city.
Interested persons can choose their zones to participate. The names of the zones are listed below.
- 1st Zone (Near Temple Office)
- 2nd Zone (Marchi Kote Chhak)
- 3rd Zone (Market Chhak)
- 4th Zone (Medical Chhak)
- 5th Zone (Badasankha)
- 6th Zone (Gundicha Mandir)
