In a shocking incident of one-sided love taking a violent turn, a youth named Sunil Sethi has been arrested after allegedly attempting to attack a woman with acid.
The accused had been persistently pursuing the woman despite her rejection and resorted to threats when she refused his advances.
As per reports, Sunil Sethi tried to forcefully approach the woman and even attempted to chase her with the intent to harm. Today, as he arrived with acid in an apparent attack attempt, local residents intervened and overpowered him. The police from Saheed Nagar station were immediately alerted, and they took him into custody.
The incident underscores the dangers of obsessive and coercive behaviour in relationships, emphasising the need for stronger social awareness and legal interventions to curb crimes linked to rejection in romantic relationships.
