Air India and Air India Express have announced a compassionate policy for armed forces personnel, offering free rescheduling of tickets and full refunds on cancellations.
This gesture comes in response to India’s recent missile and drone strikes, which targeted nine terrorist infrastructures in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
The offer applies to defence personnel who have booked tickets under special defence fares until May 31, 2025. Additionally, a one-time waiver allows flight rescheduling up to June 30, 2025, ensuring that service members can fulfil their duty commitments without travel concerns.
The airlines shared this announcement via a post on X on Wednesday, reflecting solidarity with India’s armed forces during this critical period.
