Actor Alia Bhatt is set to make her much-anticipated red carpet debut at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, joining global icons and longtime attendee Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as part of L’Oréal Paris’s 28th anniversary celebration at the prestigious event. The festival runs from May 13 to May 24 this year.
Sharing her excitement, Alia said, “There’s something absolutely special about firsts — and I’m thrilled to debut at the iconic Festival de Cannes, a celebration of cinema and self-expression. It’s an honour to represent L’Oréal Paris with this year’s theme, ‘Lights, Beauty and Action.’”
Reflecting on the deeper message, she added, “To me, beauty is about celebrating individuality, confidence, and self-worth. I’m proud to stand with a brand that champions every woman’s journey.”
L’Oréal Paris’s red carpet lineup will also include international stars such as Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Elle Fanning, and more.
On the work front, Alia will next appear in ‘Alpha’, a spy thriller directed by Shiv Rawail and part of YRF’s spy universe, releasing on December 25. She’s also set to star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
