The body of Ashirbad, a minor boy who had been missing since April 5, was discovered on Sunday in a septic tank near his home in Ratanpur village. The tragic discovery has shocked the local community.

According to police sources, Ashirbad’s uncle has been detained on suspicion of murder, allegedly driven by family enmity. The boy’s disappearance had sparked days of intense search efforts, culminating in the grim find.

Puri police have launched a thorough investigation, and the detained relative is being interrogated. Forensic teams have been deployed to collect evidence from the site.

Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
