In a major boost to civil service aspirants from Odisha, the Higher Education Department of the Odisha Government has announced a free residential coaching programme for 200 eligible candidates under the UPSC Civil Services Residential Coaching Scheme for 2025–26.
The initiative is part of the state’s commitment to encourage and empower youth preparing for India’s most prestigious examination — the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Exam.
Free Coaching, Food, and Stay
The scheme offers 11 months of intensive coaching, covering both Prelims and Mains (including General Studies and Optional papers) strictly as per the UPSC syllabus. The programme is fully residential, with free food and accommodation provided to all selected candidates.
Entrance Exam on June 8
Selection will be done through a pre-qualifying entrance exam scheduled for June 8, 2025.

Admit cards will be available on the SSB Odisha website (www.ssbodisha.ac.in) from June 3, 2025.

Applications can be submitted online via the SAMS portal, starting from April 15 at 4:00 PM.

The last date to apply is May 9, 2025, at 11:45 PM.

An application fee of ₹100 is applicable.
