With just hours remaining before its grand theatrical debut, Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus Ramayana: Part One has officially breached the Rs 100 crore mark in global presales.

By the end of business on Tuesday, the film accumulated an impressive Rs 111.50 crore gross in advance ticket sales, boasting a balanced split between domestic and international markets.

The domestic market contributed approximately Rs 57.25 crore gross (Rs 48 crore nett), while international circuits chipped in $5.70 million (Rs 54.25 crore). With a final surge underway, global presales are projected to approach or surpass the Rs 150 crore milestone before opening day.

In India, despite pre-Diwali sluggishness, the Hindi version generated Rs 17.50 crore nett for Day 1 as of Wednesday morning. Driven by superstar Yash’s immense pull, the Kannada-dubbed version set a record for the highest presales for any Kannada-dubbed film at Rs 5 crore gross. Overall 5-day domestic advance sales stand near Rs 40 crore nett.

Overseas, the United States leads international bookings with $3.20 million, marking the second-highest presales for a Hindi film behind Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Tracking points to a global opening weekend north of $20 million.
