The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out raid operations in Anugola, Odisha, following allegations of money laundering and illegal financial transactions tied to a trading scam.
The search operations targeted a commercial complex located on the 6th line of Amalapada in Anugola town. Investigators suspect local links connected to a broader illegal trading and money laundering network operating in the region.
A team of four ED officials, accompanied by Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel for security enforcement, descended on the premises to search documents, digital records, and transaction logs.
The investigative agency is probing financial footprints to uncover the full extent of the fraudulent trading network and determine potential local involvement. Further details regarding financial seizures and specific entities under scrutiny are awaited as search operations continue.
