Following its high-profile premiere at the 2026 New York Film Festival, Godzilla Minus Zero has ignited social media with overwhelming critical acclaim ahead of its theatrical release next month.
Directed by Takashi Yamazaki and produced by Toho, the film serves as the direct sequel to 2023’s Oscar-winning hit Godzilla Minus One and marks the sixth entry in the franchise’s Reiwa era.
Set in 1949, Godzilla Minus Zero follows a struggling postwar Japan as it tries to rebuild amid unimaginable loss. When the terrifying three-headed titan King Ghidorah emerges, a regenerating Godzilla resurfaces to confront the monumental threat, forcing humanity into another desperate fight for survival.
