Bhubaneswar: Ahead of Urban Local Bodies in Odisha, the State Election Commission (SEC) will hold an all-party meeting on February 10.
The SEC will hold a meeting with the representatives of various political parties to decide the date and various modalities for conducting the urban elections with adherence to Covid-19 guidelines.
Reportedly, Odisha is likely to conduct the urban local bodies elections in April or May after the five-phase rural polls from February 16.
The three-tier panchayat elections in Odisha will be held from February 16 to 24. Polling will take place on February 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24 from 7 am to 1 pm. Results will be declared on February 26, 27 and 28. Counting will be done at the block level, not booths.
