Bhubaneswar: At least four Urban Health Centres of Puri district have been awarded ISO certification in terms of quality standards.
Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also extended congratulations to the concerned authorities.
Taking to Twitter Naveen wrote: “Four Urban Health Centres of the district have been awarded ISO 9001: 2015 certification in terms of quality standards. This will further ensure high-quality healthcare services to people and help in realising the vision of Sustha Odisha Sukhi Odisha.”

The ISO certification was given to:
UPHC handan Hajuri, UPHC Swargadwara, UPHC Dolabedikona, and UPHC Kamala devi hospital.
The above UPHC were found in compliance with the requirements of Quality management system ISO 9001: 2015 for the following scope:
To Provide Primary Curative and Preventive health services to the urban poor especially to slum dwellers and other general population of the Puri City along with Specialist Services like (0 & G, Pediatrics, Dental) under AMA clinic, Diagnostics Services under NIDAN (Pathology Test), Free Drugs and Medicine under NIRAMAYA, Family Planning Services, Maternal & Child Health Services, Immunization Services, Communicable Disease Treatment, Non-Communicable Disease Screening with detection and Yoga Services under HWC.
