Shrinika Nayak, an 18-month-old toddler from Narsinghpur, Cuttack, has earned a place in the India Book of Records for her extraordinary memory and verbal skills.

Born to engineer Krishna Nayak and banker Subhadarshani Parida, Shrinika began showing signs of brilliance before she could even speak clearly. Despite her young age, she can identify 23 fruits, 23 birds, 25 flowers, 27 freedom fighters, 27 famous places, 10 deities, 60 animals, 28 insects, 12 dry fruits, 13 colors, 14 shapes, 16 sports items, 22 professions, 19 space objects, 24 vehicles, 21 body parts, and 50 miscellaneous items.

Shrinika started retaining information from the age of one. Her parents noticed her ability to remember everything she heard at home. They avoided putting pressure on her and allowed her to learn naturally. She often mumbled words, gradually forming clear sentences. Her family, amazed by her memory, decided to apply for the India Book of Records.

Shrinika cleared the first round with ease. The India Book of Records team recognized her talent and awarded her with a certificate, medal, and citation. Her achievement has brought pride to her family and community.

Shrinika Nayak’s story is a testament to the power of natural learning and early cognitive development. Her name now stands among India’s youngest record holders, inspiring many across the country.
