Bhubaneswar: Like Dussehra, the Kumar Purnima and Laxmi Puja celebration may get severely affected due to inclement weather as the weather department predicted heavy showers on October 9 and 10.
As per the information of Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre, the coastal parts of Odisha are likely to experience heavy rain on October 9 and 10.

The rainfall activity is likely to increase on Kumar Purnima that falls on October 9. Similarly, several parts of coastal Odisha are expected to witness heavy downpour in the next day.
As per the bulletin issued by the weather agency, parts of Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Puri, Ganjam, Khurdha, and Gajapati may report heavy rains on October 9 and 10. Met department has issued yellow warning for these districts.
Similarly, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Khurdha, Puri, Ganjam and Gajapati may also witness incessant rain from 8.30 am on October 10 to 8.30 am on October 11. Yellow warning has been issued for these districts.
