In a shocking incident near Shirapur Chhak at Soro, Balasore, a 23-year-old man, Dipak Jena, was critically injured in a violent group assault on Wednesday evening.
According to sources, the victim was standing near Hanuman Chhak when he was ambushed by eight individuals armed with sharp weapons. The attackers arrived on three motorcycles and carried out an unexpected assault, leaving Dipak with severe injuries to his head, arms, and body.
The local community rushed him to Soro Hospital, but due to the severity of his condition, he was transferred to the District Headquarters Hospital in Balasore for advanced medical care.
