Heavy waterlogging at the Azad Market underpass on Ram Bagh Road has triggered severe traffic disruptions across central Delhi.
The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an urgent advisory, urging commuters to avoid the affected stretch and follow designated diversions to ease congestion.
According to officials, vehicles from Rani Jhansi Road are being rerouted via Barfkhana, while traffic from Barfkhana is diverted toward Pul Mithai and Idgah. Commuters from Veer Banda Bairagi Marg are advised to take Old Rohtak Road as an alternative.
The advisory lists the following alternate routes:
- Barfkhana
- Pul Mithai
- Idgah
- Old Rohtak Road
- Rani Jhansi Road
Traffic personnel have been deployed at key intersections to manage flow and assist motorists. Authorities have urged citizens to remain patient and adhere to traffic rules while navigating the diversions.
