A High-Stakes Story of Loss and Survival
Train follows a grief-stricken protagonist who boards a long-distance train intended as a final journey to visit his late wife’s grave before taking his own life.
However, his tragedy takes a harrowing turn when heavily armed hijackers seize control of the speeding locomotive, taking thousands of innocent passengers hostage.
Forced to step up amidst the crisis, the emotionally broken man wages a desperate, room-by-room battle against the hijackers through the narrow compartments of the train. Through this harrowing ordeal, the life-and-death struggle gradually shifts his perspective, offering him a path out of despair and helping him rediscover the true value of life.
Ensemble Cast & Technical Crew
Apart from Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role, Train boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Shruti Haasan, Nassar, Dimple Hayathi, Jayaram, and Narain.
Produced by Kalaippuli S. Thanu under the banner of V Creations, the film also marks a major milestone for director Mysskin, who has composed the musical score in addition to directing and writing the film.
