A father and his two sons suffered a brutal attack in Jaypur village under Kotinada police limits of Ganjam district late Friday night, leaving all three critically injured.
The victims, identified as Ashish Lenka, Bikash Lenka, and Kunal Lenka, faced a violent assault inside their home. Police said the motive behind the attack remains unclear.
Local residents rushed the injured family members to Berhampur Medical College after their condition worsened. Doctors confirmed that all three sustained severe injuries and required urgent treatment.
Police launched an investigation immediately after receiving information. Officers from Kotanada police station began examining the crime scene and collecting evidence. Authorities said they are questioning locals to trace the attackers and establish the cause of the assault.
