Boudh: Two SOG jawans sustained critical injuries in the Maoist IED blast at Balamtuma forest under Kantamal police station in Boudh district on Thursday.
The injured jawans are Utkal Patel and Sai Siromani Nayak.
According to reports, the explosion occurred while the jawans were conducting search operations in that area. They were immediately rushed to the Bhimabhoi Medical College and Hospital. After preliminary treatment, they were airlifted from the Reserve Police Ground at Manoharpur, Bolangir to Bhubaneswar.
