Three Indian Army soldiers lost their lives on Sunday when their truck plunged into a 700-foot gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Ramban district.

The incident occurred around 11:30 AM near Battery Chashma on National Highway 44 while the Army truck was part of a convoy travelling from Jammu to Srinagar. Officials reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the fatal crash.

Rescue operations were swiftly initiated, but unfortunately, the impact was severe, resulting in the immediate loss of lives. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident. Further updates will follow as the situation develops.
