BJP Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal, accusing him of remaining silent on alleged paper leaks in Punjab.
She claimed the state has witnessed six major examination leaks in the last five years, including massive cheating in the July 19 pharmacy exam.
Speaking to reporters in the Parliament House complex, Maliwal alleged that the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) was created by Kejriwal’s associates and functions as AAP’s “B team.” She claimed AAP had run a paid PR campaign for CJP on social media.
Maliwal further accused the AAP government of acting against students protesting paper leaks while encouraging demonstrations on other issues. “When peaceful protesters in Punjab demonstrate against paper leaks, Arvind Kejriwal has them brutally lathi‑charged,” she alleged.
She also targeted Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, claiming he was making “irrelevant and incoherent statements” and demanded the state’s education minister resign immediately.
