Cuttack: The historic Bali Yatra festival in Cuttack witnessed a magical evening as renowned singer Suresh Wadkar captivated the audience with his soulful performance. On the seventh day of the festival, Wadkar’s melodious voice resonated through the venue, leaving the crowd spellbound.
The Padma Shri awardee began his performance with the timeless classic “Zindagi Gale Lag Ja,” followed by a series of popular hits including “Duniya Haseeno Ka Mela,” “Ram Teri Ganga Maili Ho Gayi,” and “Tum Se Milke.” His rendition of these songs struck a chord with the audience, drawing them into a musical journey.
Adding a local touch, Wadkar also performed several beloved Odia songs such as “Maa Tume Mamataara Seemahina Sagar,” “Soija Mama,” and “Sindura Mathare Tora,” which were met with enthusiastic applause. His heartfelt performance was complemented by the melodious voice of Sohini Mishra, making the evening even more memorable.
