Renowned sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has once again mesmerised devotees and visitors by unveiling an awe-inspiring sand sculpture on Puri Beach for Deba Snana Purnima.
His artwork features the divine Trio—Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Balabhadra—set against the backdrop of 108 Kalash, symbolising purity and spiritual devotion.
The sacred occasion of Deba Snana Purnima marks the ceremonial bathing of the deities, an integral tradition preceding the annual Rath Yatra. Pattnaik’s artistic tribute, meticulously crafted in sand, embodies the reverence and grandeur of the celebration, drawing large crowds of devotees and tourists alike.
