The law enforcement agencies in Punjab and Haryana have arrested three more individuals for allegedly spying for Pakistan.
The Punjab DGP confirmed the arrests of Sukhpreet Singh and Karanbir Singh, accused of passing sensitive military information to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Authorities recovered three mobile phones and eight live .30 cartridges from the suspects, further strengthening the case against them. Forensic analysis has confirmed intelligence-sharing activities, prompting heightened security measures across the region.
Meanwhile, Haryana police detained Mohammad Tareef, a resident of Tauru in Mewat district, marking the second arrest from Nuh district in connection to the case. Investigators allege Tareef engaged in espionage operations, and a mobile phone seized from him is undergoing examination.
The latest arrests follow an ongoing operation aimed at dismantling suspected intelligence leaks related to military movements and strategic locations. With multiple individuals already under scrutiny, authorities assert that national security remains a top priority.
