Special OTET 2025 Results Announced

Over 48,000 candidates qualify; overall pass rate stands at 66.50%

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, announced the results of the Special OTET 2025 examination held on September 27.

A total of 72,413 candidates appeared for the test, and 48,153 qualified, marking an overall pass rate of 66.50%.

In Paper‑I, 12,988 candidates cleared the exam, recording a pass percentage of 47.17%. Meanwhile, Paper‑II saw 35,165 successful candidates, with a significantly higher pass rate of 78.35%. Together, both papers produced 48,153 qualified candidates.

Officials confirmed that 75,403 candidates registered for the exam, while 72,413 appeared. The Special OTET was conducted after the earlier test was cancelled due to a question paper error.

Candidates can access their results from 1 pm onwards at the official BSE Odisha website: www.bseodisha.ac.in.

The announcement highlights the importance of the Special OTET in ensuring qualified teachers enter the education system. With nearly two‑thirds of candidates passing, the results reflect a strong performance across the state.
