The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, announced the results of the Special OTET 2025 examination held on September 27.
A total of 72,413 candidates appeared for the test, and 48,153 qualified, marking an overall pass rate of 66.50%.

Officials confirmed that 75,403 candidates registered for the exam, while 72,413 appeared. The Special OTET was conducted after the earlier test was cancelled due to a question paper error.
Candidates can access their results from 1 pm onwards at the official BSE Odisha website: www.bseodisha.ac.in.
The announcement highlights the importance of the Special OTET in ensuring qualified teachers enter the education system. With nearly two‑thirds of candidates passing, the results reflect a strong performance across the state.
