In a significant development following heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) announced the reopening of 32 airports that were temporarily shut due to security concerns.

The decision to resume commercial air services came after both nations agreed to a ceasefire aimed at de-escalating conflict along the International Border.

Among the reopened airports are key locations such as Chandigarh and Srinagar, which had faced major disruptions due to airspace restrictions. Authorities confirmed that all affected airports are now fully operational for civil aircraft, restoring vital connectivity to impacted regions.

Passengers and airlines welcomed the move, expressing relief that normal operations have resumed. Aviation experts view this decision as a positive step toward stability in regional air travel, following days of uncertainty.
