Mumbai: Legendary cricketer and former India captain Sachin Tendulkar tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The cricket legend took to social media to confirm the news with all his followers.
Sachin has ‘mild symptoms’ and has decided to quarantine himself at home as advised by the doctors.
“I have been testing myself and taking all the recommended precautions to ensure Covid is kept at bat. However, I’ve tested positive today following mild symptoms. All others at home have tested negative,” Tendulkar tweeted.
“I’ve quarantined myself at home and am following all necessary protocols as advised by my doctors,” Sachin said.

The former India captain thanked the healthcare professionals for their constant support.
Sachin Tendulkar was the captain of the India Legends team which recently won the Road Safety World Series in Raipur after beating Sri Lanka Legends in the finals of the tournament.
