Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, Harsh Malhotra, handed over appointment letters to 258 candidates.

This fair is part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s nationwide initiative, where similar events across 47 locations benefited over 51,000 young individuals.

Since the initiative’s inception in 2022, more than 10 lakh youths have secured government jobs. The government is also focusing on skill development through a newly launched portal offering over 1,400 courses tailored for government employees.

Highlighting the vision for a developed India by 2047, the initiative underscores the importance of youth empowerment, skill development, and digital accessibility, especially in rural areas.

Addressing the gathering, Shri Malhotra highlighted the transformative impact of the Rozgar Mela, launched in 2022 under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. He emphasised the government’s commitment to good governance, transparency, and youth empowerment, noting that over 10 lakh youth have already secured government jobs through this initiative.

The event also showcased initiatives like Mission Karmayogi and the i-GOT portal, aimed at enhancing the skills of government employees. With over 1,400 courses available and more than 1 crore employees trained, these programs are revolutionising public service delivery.

Several dignitaries, including Shri M.S. Singh, Chief Commissioner, CGST & Customs, Bhubaneswar Division; Prof. Sripad Karmalkar, Director, IIT Bhubaneswar; and Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, Executive Director, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, graced the occasion.
