Robin Uthappa Announces Retirement From All Forms Of Cricket

New Delhi: India batter Robin Uthappa announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Wednesday.

Taking to the Twitter, the cricketer said: “It has been my greatest honour to represent my country and my state, Karnataka. However, all good things must come to an end, and with a grateful heart, I have decided to retire from all forms of Indian cricket. Thank you all.”

Uthappa featured in 46 ODIs and 13 T20Is for India, scoring 934 and 249 runs in a career. In IPL, he has played in 205 matches, scoring 4952 runs that included 27 fifties.

Uthappa was the part of the Indian team that won the inaugural T20 World Cup in 2007. He has won 2 IPL titles, 1 with KKR (2014) and one with CSK (2021). He won two back to back Ranji Trophy also in seasons 2013-14, and 2014-15 respectively.
